We’re a Green Giant!

At the GoGreen ’08 conference today, I was honored with a “Green Giant” award. According to its sponsor — the Portland Tribune’s Sustainable Life section — it’s a first-time award given to outstanding Portland-area citizens and businesses promoting sustainable practices.

It was fun to attend and humbling to receive the award, but even more inspiring to see how many different voices there are the business community, each working toward sustainability in its own way. We definitely live in a great place.
